the module introduces fundamental skills for the appropriate communication of architectural design. It engages different means of visualization and expression of space and spatial ideas through architectural drawings to prepare students with the skills required in design projects.

starchitect
i chose frank lloyd wright as my starchitect for his iconic natural architecture style. in this project i learnt composition and the application of various coloring mediums such as water color and markers.

this project taught me how to independently produce orthographic drawings with standard templates such as north point, column grids, section line, and etc. with this project i also learnt how to draw axonometric and perspective drawings.

space and sensory
this project is a fusion between architectural design i and design communication. here, i was tasked to produce my own orthographic drawings, an exploded axonometry, joinery details and many more. i found it quite challenging as this time i had no reference but my own design but in the end it was rather worth it to see my ideas come to life.

mr. Adib's guidance in design communication greatly improved my drawing skills. the weekly assignments were instrumental in reinforcing concepts such as composition, coloring mediums, and etc., making the learning process engaging and practical.
